Michael Belvedere: Everyone was hiding, but I stood on a chair beside the door and I picked up the heaviest chair in the room and held it above my head for a while, waiting for him to open the door.

Brooks Brown: Well, if his basic premise doesn't fit the facts, the rest falls apart. Popular kids go out, unpopular stay in.

Belvedere: Like your pulse, blood. It didn’t make sense to me.

Brown: Therefore, the games are not to blame.

Belvedere: You prayed for that cop.

Brown: The first is bullying. Bruised my arm.

Belvedere: I cry at stupid things in movies, but in real life, I'm not much of a crier.

Brown: We are affected by the world we take in.

Belvedere: But we wound up getting Angelica through.

Brown: Consider all media essentially advertisements for decisions.

Belvedere: But just for a second it was open and then it was closed again.

Brown: If you find pipe bombs and gun manuals in your kid's room - maybe talk to him about it?

Belvedere: My boyfriend was terrified — he was on the other side of the street waiting for me.

Brown: That should not be a surprise. It's a long damn story, that never gets easier to tell.

Belvedere: Everyone thought it was music.
